JB Engineers is the culmination of more than 35 years of business acumen, engineering experience and industry relationships. Jared Jung has been a licensed professional engineer for over 15 years, and Mathias Jung has owned a successful destination marketing firm in Cheyenne for over 10 years. The brothers are proud of their Wyoming values, and they look forward to being involved in the community and contributing to the betterment of the state.
JB Engineers provides a broad range of geotechnical engineering services and subsurface exploration, along with soil, concrete and asphalt testing to assist clients across Wyoming, western Nebraska and northern Colorado. Through assessment of subsurface conditions and application of sound geotechnical engineering expertise principles, the firm provides clients practical and cost-effective solutions.

Who We Are
Jared Jung, PE, CEO
Jared J. Jung, PE, MBA, is a graduate of the University of Wyoming, where he obtained his Civil Engineering degree in 2001. In 2013, he graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Master of Business Administration. Jared is a licensed professional engineer in Wyoming, Colorado, Nebraska and North Dakota. Jared has extensive experience in providing consulting engineering services including geotechnical engineering, environmental engineering, and construction materials testing and engineering, as well as in municipal, commercial and transportation projects in the Rocky Mountain region. This includes budgeting, project oversight, resolving engineering issues and more. In addition to owning and running JB Engineers for the past five years, he also spent the previous 15 years managing offices and regions ranging in size from $1M to $4M in annual revenues. He is a board member of Cheyenne LEADS and associate board vice president of Associated General Contractors of Wyoming.
Mathias Jung, CFO
Mathias Jung received his Marketing & Management degree in 2005 from the University of Wyoming. After graduation, he began his professional career at a Cheyenne-based international marketing firm, and in 2013, he acquired the company. He is an accomplished professional with executive-level expertise across all business functions with over 15 years of experience in economic development for the Rocky Mountain region and in managing marketing programs abroad in the European, Nordic and Oceanic markets. Mathias has an especially widespread background in working for various state and city governments and organizations. He is a 2018 graduate of Leadership Wyoming and in 2020 was elected to the Cheyenne LEADS Board of Directors.
