PROJECT DETAILS:
This project included the construction of a new solar farm south of Cheyenne, Wyoming, near the Wyoming/Colorado border.
The solar farm was constructed to provide 150 MW AC power and included roadways and a substation.
The area covered approximately 729 acres and approximately 10 miles of aggregate surfaced roadway.
SERVICES PERFORMED:
Construction materials testing and observations included field and laboratory testing of soil and concrete.
In addition, drilled pier foundation and reinforcing steel observations were performed at the substation.
