SERVICES PERFORMED:

  • Geotechnical engineering for structures at the site: One concern at this site was high ground water from a peanut pond across the street. The site had to be raised 3 feet to stay out of ground water. In addition, high loads for the new Chute No. 9 required a foundation remediation adjacent to an existing retaining wall.
  • Construction materials testing – ongoing. Soil and concrete testing and engineering observations were performed during construction.
